Fish Waste to Fish Leather transforms Kingston’s Bishops Palace House into a circular economy showcase. The riverside facility features a dock for receiving fish waste, an onsite factory producing luxury fish leather, retail space selling bespoke leather goods, and a fine dining restaurant with outdoor riverside seating and a rooftop terrace - creating a complete sustainable luxury experience where production, consumption, and education coexist.

The Location : Bishops House Palace
Canadian and Portland Estates in 2007, Haworth Tompkins have completed phase 1 of their revitalisation of Bishops Palace house in Kingston-upon-Thames, to create an exciting new retail and leisure destination.
The Bishops Palace House site lies in a prominent location on the western edge of the Old Town Conservation Area on the bank of the Thames, next to the Grade II listed bridge. The Bridge, which connects the Horsefair, provides the major route into Kingston from the west and the neighbouring towns such as, Hampton, Teddington and Twickenham.
